Why Building Permit is important?
Majority of construction improvements have to be permitted by Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) because it is the law of the area where these improvements will take place. Like other violations of law, construction or alterations without proper building permits and approvals can have very bad consequences. Those consequences could be a stop order, a fine, a denial of financing or insurance as well as a lawsuit.
